Ericsson returns to sales growth in Q3 with revenues up 6%

Ericsson reported a return to sales growth in the third quarter, helped by mobile network contracts in Asia. Sales increased 6 percent year-on-year to SEK 59.5 billion and were up 7 percent on an organic basis. Profits were still lower year-on-year, after a one-time gain a year ago from the sale of Iconectiv. The adjusted EBITA margin dropped to 10.1 percent from 15.8 percent a year earlier, and net profit halved, to SEK 5.8 billion from SEK 11.3 billion.
