European AI spending to reach USD 470 billion by 2030 - IDC

European AI spending is forecast to grow at a CAGR of 35 percent between 2025-2030 to reach almost USD 470 billion, according to new research from IDC. GenAI solutions will account for over half (55.5%) of the total market by 2030. Software is the largest technology segment, accounting for 54.9 percent of total European AI spending in 2026; with software being the fastest-growing technology segment with CAGR of 43.9 percent between 2025-2030.

Silknet grows revenues in H1

​Revenues at Georgian operator SIlknet rose to GEL 314.7 million in the first half of this year from GEL 297.6 million in the same period a year earlier. That included commercial revenues at GEL 292.38 million (up from GEL 273.4 million) and carrier revenues at GEL 22.5 million (down from GEL 24.3 million). Adjusted EBITDA improved to GEL 205.9 million from GEL 193.0 million, for a stable margin at 65 percent. The net profit fell slightly, to GEL 112.8 million from GEL 116.4 million.
