News about 5G offered few surprised in recent months. Nevertheless, the market development continues, creating an image of 5G increasingly different from what we've come to know from 4G, a technology nearly exclusively used for mobile services. With the latest developments in 5G, we're moving closer to some of the promised new applications, such as fixed-wireless access, broadcast, autonomous vehicles and many more industrial innovations. In this article we look at the latest developments since June 2021.
