Android Pay is a new push for mobile payment

Friday 29 May 2015 | 16:22 CET | Author: Bart Garvelink | Background
Google has announced Android Pay, a set of payment services coming with Android M this autumn. With Android Pay, users can pay in-app, online or at point of sale, using the smartphone. All major credit cards have announced their support, as well as over 700,000 stores in the US – most of which are already accepting contactless EMV card payments. Google brings several new developments, building on the support for Host Card Emulation (HCE) and token services already there.
