Berec data finds alternative roaming tariffs exceeding regulated rates

Wednesday 13 February 2013 | 13:30 CET | Author: Alejandra van de Roer | Background
Berec, the Body of European Telecoms Regulators, recently published a benchmark report on international roaming prices, presenting the results of the tenth round of data collection on these services. The report covers the period 1 January 2012 – 30 June 2012 and also includes data from previous rounds of data collection conducted by Berec and its predecessor, the European Regulators Group (ERG), to provide context for the current figures. The earliest data is from Q2 2007, when the first EU roaming regulation was about to enter into force.
