Consumers favour faster internet over more TV channels

Wednesday 7 January 2015 | 12:55 CET | Author: Bart Garvelink | Background
More consumers are interested in faster internet than adding more TV channels, according to research by the Telecompaper Consumer Panel. Asked what they would choose if their triple-play provider offered a free upgrade, 54 percent said they would choose a faster internet plan, while 46 percent opted for a bigger TV package. A group of respondents also said they would go without TV, if they could have a faster internet connection.
