Consumers favour faster internet over more TV channels

More consumers are interested in faster internet than adding more TV channels, according to research by the Telecompaper Consumer Panel. Asked what they would choose if their triple-play provider offered a free upgrade, 54 percent said they would choose a faster internet plan, while 46 percent opted for a bigger TV package. A group of respondents also said they would go without TV, if they could have a faster internet connection.
