Covid crisis accelerates telecom sector's adoption of digital customer service, eSims

Six months since Covid-19 started to spread around the world, the telecom business is already starting to look a bit different. Many operators have reported a surge in demand, as more people are forced to work and study from home, as well as seek new forms of online entertainment. The problem though is how do you sign up and serve customers when shops are closed and people can't move around? The answer is accelerated adoption of digital customer service – from apps and web portals to digital payments and eSims.
