Deutsche Telekom strategy to 2015: focus on LTE and FTTC

Deutsche Telekom has outlined a new strategy for the period to 2015, at its capital markets day on 6-7 December. Investments in LTE and FTTC will increase, dividends will be cut, and by 2014, a return to sales growth should be evident. The German operator is targeting growth in B2B/ICT, mobile data and TV; these services should grow to around 40-50 percent of revenues, from around a quarter in 2010. It's also looking at a possible stock market listing or sale of the UK joint venture EE and the Scout group. At the same, the balance sheet is expected to remain strong, with a targeted net
