Differentiating on the streaming video market: live TV, ads, features, innovative bundles and a lower price

Competition is increasing on the TV-video market. More and more studios and operators are bypassing the traditional broadcast system in order to offer their content direct to consumers. Even some of the broadcasters and internet companies are trying this. In the effort to win over consumers and their spending, the challenge is to find a way to stand out. We look here at the latest attempts to carve out a position on the market, based on five parametres for ifferentiation. Netflix continues to benefit from its first-mover advantage, thanks to not only its record spending on original content
