Dutch 4G data traffic growing, but 3G not yet falling

Mobile data traffic in the Netherlands continues to grow, reaching nearly 327,000 TB across the four mobile networks in 2017, according to the latest figures from market regulator ACM. The operators invested to meet the growing demand, with a focus on LTE. While 4G traffic is growing quickly, 3G traffic has yet to show a decline, putting off any eventual shutdown of the 3G networks for refarming spectrum.
