Dutch consumers using OTT voice services less

The growing popularity of smartphones suggests it's inevitable that everyone will soon call using 'over-the-top', IP-based applications. This poses a serious threat to the use of fixed and mobile telephony services. OTT services allow users to call free, or at least for a fraction of the cost of traditional voice services. In April last year, Telecompaper looked at consumer call behaviour to assess the extent of the transition from fixed and mobile telephony to VoIP services.
