Dutch operators negotiate with ACM on 'virtual' DSL

Tuesday 17 February 2015 | 12:14 CET | Author: Bart Garvelink | Background
The future of wholesale access to KPN's fixed networks will be decided in the coming weeks. Regulator ACM published a draft decision last October on unbundled access, but the final details still need to be decided. In the latest decision, the alternative operators, such as Tele2, Vodafone and Online, have been given the chance to negotiate first with KPN. All are keeping quiet on the terms, which should be decided in the next few weeks, focusing mainly on so-called Vulas, or virtual services on the copper network.
