Fixed network operators target German mobile operators on own turf

With the launch of mobile services by Germany's third largest cable operator Tele Columbus, most of Germany's largest fixed network operators are active as MVNO. According to Telecompaper's MVNO list, 20 of the 80 MVNOs are from the Fixed Telco segment. Meanwhile the German mobile service revenues decreased by 2.9 percent year-on-year to EUR 4.57 billion in the second quarter of 2015. Non-voice (data&SMS) revenues are the largest revenue source for the third quarter in a row, ending with 51.1 percent of the total services revenues, according to Telecompaper's quarterly German mobile market
