German mobile market hopes for growth after Telefonica, E-Plus merger

The German mobile market had a dynamic summer. Highlights included Telefonica winning approval to acquire E-Plus, reducing the market to just three mobile operators, and the continued MTA rate battle between the German regulator and the European Commission. MVNOs also started offering LTE services, something that may help drive customer and service revenue growth.
