Hollywood studios prepare attack on OTT video market

The OTT video market is dominated by the big internet companies and broadcasters, while telecom operators play a small role. In the coming year a new type of player will take on a bigger role in the growing OTT market: the Hollywood film studios. Walt Disney, WarnerMedia and NBC Universal are using their extensive portfolios to challenge Netflix. Smaller studios and niche players are likely to join in as well through partnerships or consolidation.
