How Ziggo became the largest provider on Dutch broadband, fixed telephony and TV markets

Ziggo became the largest fixed telephony provider in the Netherlands during the fourth quarter of 2017. With that feat, the cable operator is now the largest provider of broadband, television and fixed telephony to Dutch consumers. Ziggo's market share on the aforementioned markets was more than 42 percent at the end of 2017, according to Telecompaper's quarterly reports. As cable operator, Ziggo was already the largest TV provider, and its leadership was consolidated when it merged with UPC at the end of 2014.
