Improving market conditions attract new VOs to Austria

Monday 28 July 2014 | 13:51 CET | Author: Sanne de Bruyckere | Background
Austria counts 15 active players in the virtual operator (VO) market, which together hold 27 percent of Austrian mobile subscriptions. Within the next six months, three new VO players will launch, and at least three others have announced plans. Several are looking to target new market segments. With the downward pressure on prices starting to relent, the saturated Austrian mobile market may still offer room for growth for VOs.
