Interest declines in LTE as fixed broadband replacement

LTE subscriptions on the Dutch market offer in theory speeds of up to 75 Mbps, more than most households can get with a fixed broadband connection. In May last year, 30 percent of the Dutch said they would consider switching to LTE to get the faster speeds. This percentage has since fallen, with fewer consumers considering replacing their fixed line with a 4G connection, despite the higher speeds and possibly cheaper cost.
