KPN Q2: good investments in mobile but too tight with fixed

Friday 1 August 2014 | 13:25 CET | Author: Tim Poulus | Background
KPN reported weak results for the second quarter, but maintained its outlook for the full year. Revenues are still falling across a broad front, albeit at a slightly slower rate, but there were few positive points in the report. Notably weak was the loss of 7,000 consumer broadband customers in the quarter. The cause is the usual problems of competition, price pressure, regulation and the poor economic climate in the Netherlands.
