KPN takeover rumours resurface as low valuation attracts fibre investors

Thursday 8 April 2021 | 14:24 CET | Author: Tim Poulus | Background
A new report in the Wall Street Journal suggests that EQT and Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners are preparing a takeover bid for KPN. Pending due diligence, they could launch the bid this spring, at over EUR 3 per share. Given that this is not the first takeover rumours for KPN, we're taking a cautious stance on the news. If it does come to bid, the value is more likely to be closer to EUR 4 per share.
