KPN, VodafoneZiggo take 80% of Dutch fixed market, 64% in mobile

The Dutch broadband market showed marginal growth in the second quarter, while the number of fixed lines and TV subscribers continued to decline, according to the latest quarterly reports from Telecompaper. KPN and VodafoneZiggo maintained their collective hold on the fixed market, with a combined share of over 80 percent on the consumer/mass market segment. On the mobile market, including business lines as well, the two have a total share of 64 percent.
