Last week in telecoms: Liberty Global more a buyer than a seller and America Movil renews interest in KPN

Monday 1 February 2021 | 10:47 CET | Author: Corina Schultz, Tim Poulus | Background
M&A news in the past week included America Movil raising its stake in KPN, and Liberty Global signaling its interest in takeovers in Belgium and Ireland to strengthen its disparate portfolio. The EU started a project looking at a new approach to 6G, without the current type of antenna systems, and Telia gave a somewhat disappointing strategy update.
