Last week in telecoms: Telenet faced with difficult choice, Polsat Plus dives into sustainable energy

Orange Belgium has plunged Telenet, with the acquisition of Voo, into an existential crisis, which could even lead to the dismantling of the company. Polsat Plus is now making a striking choice by placing sustainable energy as the third pillar of the group, in addition to connectivity and content. The Irish and Belgian governments reported on their national network coverage. On the wholesale front, Vodafone UK is looking for a third supplier, while Open Dutch Fiber is expanding its offering geographically. GCI (Alaska) and Telenet are meanwhile getting faced with a choice of television
