Last week in telecoms: TIM, Orange hit merger road blocks, copper networks out

The past week saw some proposed takeovers run up against obstacles. More wholesale players also started up in the fibre market, and KPN and TIM made progress with shutting down their copper networks. Vodafone and Ericsson led the expansion in B2B services.
