BT has confirmed plans to build FTTP to 20 million premises by the mid-to-late 2020s, following the publication of Ofcom's Wholesale Fixed Telecoms Markets Review statement. Further details of the build plan will be confirmed once it has conducted a full review of the statement and has a better understanding of available government support, the company said.

The companies will together develop products and use cases to solve key 5G scenarios for businesses worldwide.
