Last week in telecoms: year-end portfolio shifts underway, Tele Columbus gets bid, MGM and Tidal up for sale

With the end of the year nearing, several companies worked on completing portfolio changes in the past week. Vodafone is preparing the IPO of Vantage Towers, Polish conglomerate Cyfrowy Polsat is looking to de-list Netia, and Morgan Stanley launched a bid for the German cable operator Tele Columbus, which it's hoping to conver to fibre. Other M&A talk included Vimeo listing on the stock market, MGM up for sale again, Square reportedly eyeing a takeover of Tidal and ByteDance buying CMGE.
