LTE Broadcast offers new opportunities

Wednesday 26 June 2013 | 15:00 CET | Author: Tim Poulus | Background
KPN was the first to roll out LTE in the Netherlands, the fourth generation of mobile technology. It recently announced that its nationwide roll-out will be completed around a quarter earlier than expected, in March 2014. It started initially with LTE in the 800 MHz band and will add spectrum in the 1800 and 2600 MHz bands to improve coverage in densely populated areas.
