Mobile operators making radically different choices in first 5G launches

The first 5G network has been active for a year already (Etisalat in the UAE) and the technology still raises many questions. Operators around the world are making radically different choices when it comes to fundamental issues with 5G. This reflects the many possibilities of the technology as well the high level of uncertainty. We look here at the latest developments and conclude that there's no consensus yet over what 5G is and what we should do with it.
