Mobistar to focus on cable resale, 4G

Mobistar, the number two player on the Belgian mobile market, has announced it's withdrawing from the consumer fixed market. It will continue to serve existing broadband customers, but TV subscribers will need to find a new provider, and Mobistar is recommending the satellite provider M7 (TV Vlaanderen or TeleSat). Mobistar, which is majority controlled by France Telecom-Orange, will focus on the mobile market and increase its investments in fixed services for business customers. It's offering is support by the 1,800-km fibre network it acquired a few years ago from KPN (the former Versatel
