More than 80 percent (81%) of the Dutch with a fixed telephony connection use the fixed line at least once a week, according to Telecompaper's Consumer Panel. The survey shows that daily use of the fixed line decreased from 41 percent in December 2012 to 36 percent in December 2013. Other findings include that 46 percent of the Dutch aged 65-80 use their fixed lines on a daily basis, compared to just 27 percent of 20-29 year olds. Customers of Online.nl use their fixed line the least, and 3 percent of them do not even have a phone connected to the fixed line.
