MVNOs in crowded markets seek transition from B2C to B2B to find new growth opportunities

MVNO markets are crowded in most Western European markets. In countries such as Germany, the Netherlands and the UK, there are more than 40 active players, although many operate as branded resellers and are not fully independent MVNOs. Many virtual players in those countries are focused on consumers, as they were set up during the first phase of MVNOs when their core business was to offer connectivity at a lower price than the MNOs. This business model is becoming harder to sustain for many players, both through changes in MNO propositions (e.g. how can a MVNO offer unlimited data?) as well
