Netflix: a race against the clock, in complete Hollywood style

Netflix's quarterly results were better than its outlook, and its ARPU also increased. The all-important cash burn was at a relatively low level, helped by the sale of investments. Cash spend on content production did increase, to a record level. The company appears, in complete Hollywood fashion, to be involved in a race against the clock to maintain its advantage over the competition while it build up its content portfolio.
