Over two-thirds of Dutch consumers use public Wi-Fi services

Friday 8 November 2013 | 13:02 CET | Author: Tine Niezink | Background
Over two-thirds (68%) of Dutch consumers say they use public Wi-Fi services. This is up from 58 percent in December 2012, according to the latest results from the Telecompaper Consumer Panel in September. Consumers are not only using more free Wi-Fi, they're also paying for the services more. As with most mobile services, young people use Wi-Fi more than older consumers. Overall, the frequency of public Wi-Fi use is stable.
