Proximus targets return to growth with new broadband strategy after market share falls

Belgian operator Proximus has updated its strategy, following the appointment of new management at the end of 2019. Similar to other incumbents, it sees a need to accelerate investment in fibre in order to compete with the growing speeds available on cable networks and shore up a deteriorating market share. We look here at how its revenues developed in the latest quarter, based on the recent Belgian Total Communications market report published by Telecompaper.
