Selfie payment: first trial in the Netherlands from Mastercard and ABN

Mastercard, in partnership with International Card Services and ABN is starting a trial with a new payment method in the Netherlands: payment via selfie or fingerprint. Mastercard is choosing to use biometrics as it is another method to make payments easier for the customer: no password or pincodes are needed. Consumers can use (mobile) contactless payments in more and more places and they also expect that same kind of simple payment method when they order online.
