T-Mobile NL in Q4: slight deterioration, strategy still unclear

Monday 4 March 2013 | 14:21 CET | Author: Tim Poulus | Background
T-Mobile Netherlands recorded revenues of EUR 411 million in the fourth quarter, down 12 percent after a one-time boost in Q4 2011 from ending the rollover of voice minutes. Over the full year, revenues fell 4.8 percent to EUR 1.664 billion, hurt by regulatory effects and lower SMS revenues, as well as the decreasing number of fixed broadband customers. This was offset somewhat by growth in data revenues, and the operator also saw a positive shift towards postpaid, where voice revenues are higher. Handset sales also made a positive contribution.
