Tele2 NL revenues under pressure, switch to own mobile network needed for growth

Tele2 Netherlands reported mixed results for the second quarter. The operator pointed to a number of positive things, but the underlying results were not as strong. It noted continued growth in mobile, the first growth in consumer broadband in three years, a few large contracts and accelerated roll-out of its own LTE network. The only negative point it mentioned was a drop in handset sales. On a group level, Tele2 also mentioned this as a reason to lower its annual revenue outlook. The lower guidance was mainly due to the sale of Tele2 Norway, as well as the devaluation of the Kazakhstan
