The risks of a multi-play strategy

The market trend is towards bundling and selling multi-play service packages, but at the same time cord-cutting is driving a move towards broadband-only (single play). Both are legitimate trends: if there's anything we've learned from the rise of the internet (or 'digital transformation' as the business market calls it), is that everything comes with fragmentation. The choice of services, content, providers and devices has become overwhelming. However, the inherent risks of the multiplay have been less discussed, and a dam my be set to burst on the market.
