Traditional gaming companies look to get a piece of growing mobile games market

Traditional gaming companies are starting to taking a bigger interest in the mobile games market. Not so surprising given the enormous growth in mobile gaming, which is now estimated to account for more than half of the total games market. Often the traditional companies are only getting around 10 percent of revenues from mobile games. The companies focused entirely on this segment, like Tencent, are much more dominant. The traditional companies are turning to these mobile specialists to help get a leg up in the growing market, either by turning their IP into mobile games or buying the mobile
