Twyp failed to add user value to P2P payments

In fairly quick succession, the three largest Dutch banks have launched peer-to-peer payment apps. Twyp by ING, GRPPY by Rabobank and Tikkie by ABN Amro enable payments between consumers. ING has announced that it will discontinue Twyp by the end of the year, citing a lack of consumer demand. ABN Amro says Tikkie will stay. GRPPY is in the open beta stage and showing promise, Rabobank says.
