VoD market enters new phase with RTL takeover of Videoland

RTL Netherlands is acquiring a 65 percent stake in The Entertainment Group and its service Videoland On Demand. RTL plans to expand the service this autumn with a susbcription offer, something Netflix also plans to introduce soon in the Netherlands. Pathe Thuis is also developing such a service.
