Weekly news summary: Italy works on national network, Vodafone sorts out India and Salt sues Liberty

The creation of a national fibre operator in Italy is finally underway, while Liechtenstein is leading the world in broadband, with an average download speed of 230 Mbps. In other news this week, Movistar Spain, DirecTV Colombia and LTC (Laos) are the latest arrivals on the 5G market, and the UK's EE released new unlimited data plans bundled with Apple services and devices. Cello Electronics introduced a Google TV, including Chromecast, Vodafone is working on sorting out its financial problems in India, and Salt plans to fight Sunrise's merger with UPC in court.
