Ziggo, KIJK, NLziet lead growth on Dutch video market in 2019

Thursday 9 January 2020 | 12:41 CET | Author: Sanne de Bruyckere | Background
The Dutch watched more video content in 2019, as the number of on-demand providers increased. Many of the existing video services showed growth in customer numbers, according to research by Telecompaper. This included Ziggo Movies & Series L, thanks to the fixed-mobile benefits offered by Ziggo to Vodafone mobile customers. NLziet showed the strongest growth in the SVOD category, which also includes Netflix and Videoland, while Kijk was the best performer in the AVOD segment.
