Twitter Q2: drop in users due to clean-up, underlying growth still solid

After Facebook, Twitter is the latest tech stock to take a dive on disappointing quarterly results. While the company is succeeding in monetising usage better, the declining number of users remains a source of concern. On an underlying basis, there was still growth, after correcting for a clean-up of the user base.
