3 Sweden tightens security checks for customers accessing contracts

Swedish communications regulator PTS has finished monitoring 3 Sweden after the mobile operator tightened its procedures following repeated problems with subscription contracts reaching the wrong recipients. Tre had reported several similar privacy incidents to the watchdog. PTS said Tre has brought in more secure procedures, including making subscribers log in using their bank identification when attempting to access their contracts.
