3 UK CEO warns Huawei ban would delay 5G network roll-out by 12-18 months

Friday 22 March 2019 | 11:23 CET | News
3 UK CEO David Dyson has warned that a government ban on using Huawei equipment would delay the roll-out of 5G mobile networks, reports BBC News. He said that a ban would force the operator to remove Huawei equipment from its 4G network at a cost of hundreds of millions of pounds, which would have a dramatic impact on its 5G business model.
