3 UK tests home mobile broadband service in N Ireland

3 UK is trialling a home broadband service running on its mobile network in Northern Ireland. The new home Wi-Fi 'plug and play' service went on sale earlier in February in all 10 of the company's stores across N Ireland. It is targeted at renters, students and people who have little need for a landline phone service. 3 UK claims it is first mobile broadband service to be targeted at home users in the region. Customers can choose from data packages of either 20 GB (GBP 17 a month) or 40 GB (GBP 20 a month), with contract lengths either rolling 30-days or minimum 12 months. Customers do not
