44% of US homes with web-delivered TV service switch from traditional pay-TV - study

Almost half (44%) of US homes with a live streaming vMVPD internet-delivered pay-TV service (such as Hulu+ Live TV, Sling TV, YouTube TV or AT&T TV Now) switched directly from a traditional pay-TV service (cable, satellite or telco), according to a new study from Leichtman Research Group. In addition, one quarter (26%) also have a traditional service.
