5GAA, BMW, Ford and Groupe PSA run first European C-V2X demo

The 5GAA (5G Automotive Association), BMW Group, Ford and Groupe PSA, together with Qualcomm and wireless sensor provider Savari have conducted what the partners describe as the first live demonstration of C-V2X (cellular vehicle-to-everything) interoperability between multiple manufacturers. The included cars from Ford, Groupe PSA and BMW, as well as BMW e-scooters, and follows the C-V2X showcase 5GAA organised in Washington DC in April.
