A1, Hutchison Drei to increase mobile prices to fund network expansion

Monday 25 January 2021 | 09:40 CET | News
Austrian operators A1 and Hutchison Drei plan to increase their mobile phone tariff prices for existing customers from March to fund the costs of expanding their networks, Der Standard reports citing a letter received by customers. Drei said that it will increase prices under tariffs, including older, unlimited ones with large amounts of data, by an average of EUR 0.06 to EUR 0.10 per day as of 01 March. A1, on the other hand, will increase subscriptions for a number of SIM-only voice tariffs and SIM-only mobile broadband tariffs offered through its Bob discount brand.
